The Story of Raylin's Lemonade Stand

Supporting our mission one lemonade at a time. At age 7, Raylin started her Lemonade Stand in memory of her Papa Eugene Platano. Mr Platano was a decorated Vietnam veteran and successful area business owner, who passed away on May 16, 2020. Raylin and her family elected to donate the proceeds from her efforts to our organization and recognize and honor veterans.

Raylin's efforts also funded our very first "Heroes Memorial Scholarship". Named after non-other than her beloved Papa, this $1500 scholarship was awarded to a second-year nursing student at Kent State Ashtabula Campus.

Raylin has no doubt made her Papa very proud.
